Are you drinking enough H2O?

I personally never leave the house without a bottle of water.

I get asked…what can I do to improve my health, or what can I do to improve my fitness, or to lose weight…

If you are just starting in on how to live a fit and healthy lifestyle…the very first thing that I ever tell anyone is…make sure you are drinking enough water!

In my opinion drinking enough water is one of the easiest and quickest things that you can do and implement to improve your overall health and well being.

Did you know that 50-70% of our body is actually made up of water?

That means that more than half of your body is actually made up of H2O!

So how much water should you be drinking?

This varies person to person….depending on your size, weight, activity, where you live etc.

However, a good rule of thumb to follow is to drink a minimum of half of your body weight in ounces each day.

So, let's say that you weigh 150 pounds…this means that you should be drinking a minimum of 75 ounces every single day.

What are just a few of the great benefits of consuming your daily dose of H2O?

*Boost your metabolism

*Cleanse your body of waste

*Increase your energy

*Improve your skin

*Better sleep

*Boost your immune system

...and so much more!

It’s such an easy thing to implement.

Buy a water bottle, that way you know how many ounces of water you are consuming.

Make note of how many times you will need to fill up your bottle in order to stay on track with the amount of ounces you want to be consuming daily.

I have a 50 ounce water bottle that I lug around with me throughout the day.

Every day I make sure that I have filled it up at least twice. Of course that is based off of my personal height, weight and activity level.

Drink your H2O, and enjoy all the amazing benefits that come along with proper hydration!
